Jan 2026 • CouplesI visited recently and was delighted that nearly everything on the menu could be made Gluten Free.The owner was helpful and knowledgeable regarding allergies and all staff are fully trained. It was such a joy to eat somewhere that I felt completely safe and that they appreciated that allergies need to be taken seriously.The food was delicious, service was excellent and portions were generous.We will look forward to returning!
The food served was delicious & came in a fast enough time. Visit on a weekly basis & the quality has never once dipped. Prices are great & the service is matched by none. 12/10 recommend to everyone.
What an amazing experience at Safari! We were visiting Ireland/Northern Ireland on holiday and had left Belfast and were on our way to Dublin. We wanted to eat outside of the hubbub of Belfast so looked for something along the way. This place was wonderful. We happened to come in on a night with live music and an incredible steak special. The food was top notch; the steak was cooked and seasoned PERFECTLY and the appetizers were delightful – the chicken wings in particular were fantastic. We got great drinks (highly recommend the bramble) and the dessert was awesome – sticky toffee pudding did not disappoint and the homemade cheese cake was fantastic. We talked at length to the owner – he was super friendly and genuine; he gave us some great tips for our trip into Dublin and just was overall a nice guy. If you are in Banbridge or just in between Belfast and Dublin, check this place out- you will be happy you did.
Having usually gone elsewhere we decided to try safari for the first time a short while ago for breakfast.Since then we have been regularly for breakfast lunch and evening meals.Right across the board the food is fantastic. The service is great And the prices and offers are great. Really highly recommended it’s a very well run business credit to the owner and the staff.Also support local and not multinational corporate better food better service and experience.
Feb 2025 • couplesHidden gem in County Down. Had a wonderful evening with the highest quality of food. Seriously couldn’t fault a thing. Staff couldn’t be more helpful plus there was also entertainment which we stayed on for. Even after the meal the staff were looking after us. Thank you Safari, we will see you very soon 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Feb 2025 • friendsThis is the best spot I have been, had brilliant choices on the menu something to suit everyone, the staff are very professional, polite the atmosphere is buzzing and the food was fantastic I had a steak was cooked perfectly this is a gem of a place not to be missed safari is my go to place
Fantastic place to bring our family as they have a very inclusive menu.
I’ve been vegetarian for 35 years and never found anywhere local that offers this large selection of vegetarian food. vegan food available on request.
There are 5 vegetarians in my family and eating out as a family has become very difficult, we choose a different local restaurant for Easter and 3 of us ended up eating bland sides.
At Safari we were all able to choose a different main dish and starters if we wanted one. The meat eaters were very happy too as they also had a good selection of food.
There was 20 of us there for a family Birthday party and they open up especially for us and couldn’t have been nicer, nothing was too much trouble.The food was amazing and I’m sure we will be back soon. Thank you
